Komar University’s Sports Unit organizes a Chess Tournament for Students, Faculty and Staff Members

From 26/11/2023 to 6/12/2023 Komar University of Science and Technology started a chess tournament as part of the activities of the Sports unit. The participants of the tournament consisted of 22 players, including students, staff and faculty members. In each round, one player advanced to the next round by securing one win. In the end, both students Ravin Abdul Khaliq and Ahmad Mohammed Ali advanced to the finals. After a competitive game, in the final round, Ravin Abdulkhaliq Hassan won the first place and became the champion of the tournament. After the tournament, the first and second place winners were awarded prizes by the sports unit of Komar University.
